Take an adventure! Why not visit the Cango Caves? The caves are 29km from Oudtshoorn, at the start of the Cango Valley, which is nestled in the Klein Karoo. The caves are situated in a limestone ridge which runs parallel to the well-known Swartberg Mountains. Here you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations. The Cango Caves are a cultural and natural landmark in South Africa. The 20 million year-old Cango Caves system consists of a series of hidden chambers cut deep into a thick limestone rock layer.

Cosy Weather expectations!The Garden Route region has a Mediterranean Maritime climate, with moderately hot summers, and mild to chilly winters. It is one of the richest rainfall areas in South Africa. Most of the rains occurs in the winter months, brought on by the humid sea-winds from the Indian Ocean. The Garden Route's temperate weather falls between two climatic regions of summer and winter rainfall so it rains mostly at night which keeps the area perennially green and ensuring towns such as Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Storms River and Wilderness are wonderful holiday towns to base yourself in.

Nestled in George

Nestled in GeorgeCosy-Corner bed and breakfast is nestled in the heart of George. If history is to be believed, then this beautiful part of the world was only explored in 1688, well after Dias had landed in Mossel Bay in 1488, in the hope of finding meat and fresh water. To the Khoi people, who lived in this rich valley, the region was known as Outeniqualand - the ‘land of milk and honey’ - which aptly describes this lush and green paradise. A settlement was established here in 1811 and named George Town after the reigning monarch of England at the time.
